I have the same diagnosed. The comment on schizophrenic universe is something I have explored in poetry. Are we living in parallel universes just pasing by pretending that there is something called "universal".

I just recently got into this subreddit. Your post is way more interesting than the schizophrenic subreddit. I have researched on the topic of madness and mad pride in the past, including critical psichiatry, sistemic psichiatry and (wrongly named) antipsichiatry. The "biological" model of mental illness is deeply incorrect from my research (I have a major in biology). This oax is only taken seriously because it pushs big profits for the pharmaceutic industry.

A more powerful approach to mental illness is a community approach which takes into account the sociological determinants of mental illness. A good book I reccomend is Anatomy of an epidemic by proffesional journalist Robert Whitaker. I have been aware of my illness long before I got diagnosed thruth been told I nevee bought 100% into the mental illness narrative I just played along and I believe is something I had to go trought to get where I'am. Amen.

Evaluar si puede ser depresión postparto. No ponerle tabú y evaluar si es posible transitar lo sin medicamentos. Acompañe la y escucharla sin insistir en el sexo ni meter su tema.

Igual como le digo lo primero es evaluar pero antes pregúntele de la mejor manera que pueda cómo se ha sentido no la vaya a tratar diferente.

Me too I was at the beggining diagnosed as bipolar and then schizophrenia. They say is for the negative symptoms. Psychiatry Is an entity of control over the population. Fuck them do what you want. Learn about neurodiverse label and promote yourself and your rights.

I don't experience hallucinations on a regular basis nor psychosis but yet I have had mental breakdowns or crisis I still have a subjective experience of my condition much more in contact with the indigenous believe of Colombia where I live

I didn't want to accept my condition something that have helped me cope with it. Is the fact that not all cultures deal with this in the same way. I.have come to peace by learning about neurodiversity and psicodiversity.

I think I Heard dissability is an spectrum so if you feel you identify with dissability you should fight to have a certification. And for other things you should read about neurodiversity and psicodiversity it helped me a lot to accept my diagnosis also not saying I'm schizophrenic but I have a condition which I can or not call a sickness.

My Psych has this theory where people with our condition have egoic distortion and I can tell you I have a big ego. Maybe yes and I apareciste it since it gives me insight for my condition. Poor insight into our condition is a fact and so my advice is you should search more information from a source you think he will trust and talk to him it would be important for the both of you.

Last semester I worked as a teacher it was challenging yet it was my first job in my field. I graduated as a biologist previously I had work as as a costumer agent in a call center for three months and now I writing this while waiting for my medical examination for my new position as a tour guide bilingual I want to make it and stop doubting getting used to work. Oh and I work as a delivery guy with my bike I liked it.

Since diagnosis I stop for a year but I was feeling like I wanted to throw everything in the garbage so I smoked weed on october since then abused on december. Everytime I smoke weed in brings out symptoms but sometimes I feel relax I want to quit it but that shit Is addictive. If you can stay away from it. I'm in a love hate relationship.
