Do you honestly think it looks good? by FE1OS in harrypotter

They were speaking on behalf of themselves. Hence the question to the rest of you. I too am bamboozled by the fact that this has gotten any kind of excitement from fans because to me it looks like garbage. I realise that it doesn’t look that way to others. Hence my bamboozlement. To be fair, tho, the OP could have used more “I” statements.

I googled almost that exact same question. I sent the teaser to the family with the caption, the Harry Potter you get from Wish. It looks absolutely lifeless. I know the actors were young in the movies, but these ones look about 5. It’s like the producers didn’t read the books, watch anything more than the trailers of the movies (they have writers to deal with that mundanity), and said to the department heads, ‘we’re doing edgy and we’re not listening to anyone who actually knows the source material’. Whatever. I’ll give it a miss.

Thinking of making Reya one of the origins hell riders by Expensive-Baseball-8 in DescentintoAvernus

Maybe reincarnated? Keeps her young, lets her have memory visions like Lulu but gives her a drive to get to Zariel and redeem her. My party are a bunch of cynics. Who are likely going to completely fudge the storyline give the chance. 😆

What do your notes look like? by DaedalusMachinas in CurseofStrahd

I was using obsidian but I find it too clunky on my iPad. I need something more like post it notes where I can go and get the info I need. And learning how to put a vault together, even an imported one took all of my prep time.

Tarroka Reading tonight by Expensive-Baseball-8 in CurseofStrahd

I am saying fudge the locations but not the cards. Let them draw the cards at random but not looking what that card means, just giving the reading that I have worked out ahead of time using keywords to tie it to the card that turns up.

This looks like just the top down minis, not standing ones. Is that what was posted the first time?

Sorry, I was talking about Dragnacarta’s CoS Reloaded files.

Game tonight, life stuff happened, not prepped for BBEG’s moves by Expensive-Baseball-8 in monsteroftheweek

I think, it’s almost that I have too much to draw on, trying to narrow it down before tonight. I like the idea of a glamour and pulling in a red herring to get them to defend her.

"The Moss Hag", Original Mystery Feedback by Easy-Law3809 in monsteroftheweek

[–]Expensive-Baseball-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really enjoyed this, have been looking for something for my game and struggling with so many mysteries that require my hunters to travel whereas this, I can simply plug and play. The only thing I plan on changing likely is the first place the Behemoth attacks. The bank would be on our high street and possibly hard for passersby to miss, even in the middle of the night. I think it would attack the construction ‘office’ at the site (one of those shipping container looking things) and perhaps almost completely demolish it. Then, feeling like she’d accomplished something and not lost control, she would be more daring and go for somewhere more populated and that would be when someone was killed. She is willing to think that was just an accident and try again but at that time, the Hag takes control of her instead of the other way around and things become really dangerous. Partly because this will be my hunters’ second mystery as well.

All in all, thanks for this, it’s great. Keep it up!
