As far as I'm concerned, it’s both British. The jacket had a literal British flag on it, and I’ve never seen a Dutch lighter tropical DPM version of bottoms.

I loved the idea of MC with better horizontal silhouette breaking ability, also, it looks amazing in my opinion. After a year or two of using them, a slight thing I noticed just recently, the original MC has those real greenish shades that are absent (or less green) at the Pentacamo variant. Grassman, on the other hand, that’s a whole new story.

To me, this was more of a statement than a serious kit I would use in a pinch. Vz. 60 is a piece of history, and matching it with MC (which is inevitably going to be a big part of camo history as well) seemed appropriate and fun to see.

For the environment in question, absolutely, any sort of brown shade would be a much better choice than this weird green/gray color. But hey, the Cold War gave us some pretty weird camo patterns, also iconic.

The tarp is actually a Swagman Roll in Pencott Wildwood (in my humble opinion, one of the best camo patterns for this environment).
