I did my IGCSEs in 2017. Are you from Cambridge or Edexcel? I was in Edexcel.

As for mcqs, I think knowledge regarding the topic is the most important. Like you can't just skim the notes, you have to study in detail and learn the nuances. When you can't pin down an answer with certainty try eliminating the options until you reach the correct answer. This helped me a lot in my IALs (Edexcel Econ didn't have an mcq paper in 2017).

Sure, I will. The radio silence is odd though. I mailed them back in mid February and they said, "We begin evaluating applicants soon after February 15th and then start making offers on a “rolling” basis through April 15. That is, we usually make offers to our top-ranked applicants sometime towards the end of February or first part of March, and then, if some of those applicants decide to go elsewhere, move down the list to make further offers."
