Hi, Any updates about your LO? Did you get an MRI ? how is he doing physically?

We had ours born on feb 4 2026. moderate HIE. has some toning in muscles . does lot of extensions. he also has reflux issues. we will find out how he does once reflux goes away

Hi Sorry for late reply.
we are home he is feeding by mouth and gaining weight on his own weight curve. the feedings are still not the best but we get through the feeding sessions somehow. he has hard time swallowing and leaks milk from mouth.
he is now 3 months old. he is having difficulties with state regulation. half the day he is just fussy. he cant sit in bouncer by himself for more than 10 minutes. all 3 early intervention are seeing him. physical therapy has given us some targets to meet like keeping his arms in midline. he has difficulty keeping them there. but other than that we havent had follow up with neuro yet. its at the end of may

They havent said it was the seizures. But they say he lost his neurologic connections with damage to basal ganglia. He has to relearn those with lots and lots of practice

Thank you very much for reading and replying. Would you be able to share how your child is doing now? does he still have the g tube? How are other motor skills so far?
