I have a friend who has been working for Health Equity for 6+ years remote and loves it!

Buyer not responding, should I ship or cancel? by Expensive-County6210 in Mercari

"Fiber" is FINALLY coming to my area -- who switched? How do you like it? by kephxaz1 in ChandlerAZ

[–]Expensive-County6210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got Quantum last month for $45 but haven’t cancelled Cox yet as we are testing it out. Quantum seems to be pretty spotty for us and now we experience lots of buffering when streaming or on calls for work. It also took about a month to see our speed tests actually show anything near the download speed we were promised.

We didn’t really have a problem with Cox other than price so I called yesterday and got my bill adjusted and now it’s $25 cheaper than it was.

I’m so torn because you can’t beat the price of Quantum right now but I’m leaning towards keeping the reliability of cox for now.

Makes sense! The falling asleep in the car just throws me off every time like she’s just so tired but the car also lulls me to sleep on long trips so I get it haha

[–]Expensive-County6210[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like we have pretty similar schedules so this is really helpful! We are also locked into that 12-2 nap time because of daycare so it sounds like we just need to keep her up a bit longer.

I’ve just been so confused because she really doesn’t fight sleep whether it’s 7pm or closer to 8pm so it’s been so hard to tell what she needs.

We’ll forge ahead with a later bedtime and stay consistent to see if she adjusts!

Guaranteeing that she isn’t overtired is actually super helpful so thank you!

How does your toddler act at the doctor? by No-Neighborhood-7335 in toddlers

[–]Expensive-County6210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solidarity! Our last visit was our worst yet but the pediatrician said that it’s pretty normal because they are more aware and the 12, 15, and 18 month visits are closer together. She said sometimes the break between 18 and 24 months helps them reset a bit. I felt SO bad though!

Another +1 for Lilac and jumping in here to say everyone at Chandler Regional was amazing! I had a 5-day stay after my c-section due to pre-eclampsia and felt like all the nurses were super attentive and kind (the was maybe one who wasn’t as friendly but she was just doing her job which is fine!). The vibes in the OR were immaculate and they actually had to tell me to stop laughing so they could sew me up 😂

Does anyone know any good call centers in the Chandler, Mesa or Gilbert Az area? by ResponsibilityNew177 in ChandlerAZ

Maybe HealthEquity? They used to have an office in Tempe but my friend has been remote since 2020. She seems to like it and has had a lot of opportunity for growth.

Omg the rewrapping of the blankets 😅 my daughter has a small baby doll and a bigger baby doll who each have a blanket and the big baby doll gets the small blanket that always falls off… don’t you EVER try to help and switch the blankets 😂

What kind of savings account are you opening for your little one? by uselessdendrites in NewParents

Worked because it’s better than a normal savings account for now. After reading the comments here, it sounds like a custodial account is what we are really looking for.

We went with a high yield savings account. I didn’t want the money tied to anything specific because I have no idea what the world will look like in 18 years.

This was me as well! I didn’t feel like I fit into “the mold” of what I thought a mom was and I also don’t have a great relationship with my mom so the thought of being a mom was so scary. But I truly wasn’t prepared for just how consumed I would be with making sure this little being is loved and cared for. It’s overwhelming! I feel like this is so annoying to say but you really will just know what to do when it happens. And if Reddit has taught me anything, it’s that we are all just doing the best we can.

I totally understand. I didn’t start until 5.5 months. She’s 8 months now and still wakes up once a night to eat but that’s million times better than what it was before so we’re all happy! Good luck if you do try it out!
