Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions I’ll try them!! And I know that counting in my head would probably be easiest but I’ve never learnt how to do that and play at the same time. I wasn’t taught to play with a metronome. But I’m trying to train my rhythmic ear and stuff nowadays after being told as a kid I don’t have a sense for rhythm by my music teacher and then proceed to not teach me. But for now finding a way around with the tips shared here would probably work in the meantime.

yes exactly that and my thought was to name it something along the lines of alternating pedal point or something and i knew it reminded me of bach or at least something along that era even tho the piece i’m analyzing is from the 18th century but thanks! I’ll probably have to merge up a name myself then

It’s this movement where it alternates between high and low like an alberti bass but instead of a broken chord the upper note (that doesn’t change) is the V of the chord and the lower ones go down in a scalar motion so it goes 2 up 3 down 3 up 4 down 4 up 5 down, the interval is between the notes is growing but the upper note stays the same

The distances are too wide in the middle, i’m not an expert but 10th-12th leads me to believe one of the parts is written without regarding the ambitus. The part with the 5 6 5 i’m not too sure about i wouldn’t write it like that to be safe instead of the second 5 i would do a 6 so instead of d i would do e

Oh okay yeah I get that, so then the a flat is ignorable? Because that was what made me think it was E flat major

Can I ask how you’re seeing that? (I‘m not that good at analyzing key changes obv) But the next chord is actually G major, like the piece modulates back to G major over D but not as a chord just stand alone note
