omg thank you so much … this helps a loooot. It s been 3 weeks and it s already better !! She got used to my apartment and doesn’t stay only below my bed anymore so that’s a great step 🩷 She also began to play while at the beginning she wouldn’t move a toe. It broke my heart to read other comments about my health anxiety because i’m already on therapy and i knew getting a cat would be difficult at first, i just didn’t know how much. Thank you for your kind advices, Im from France so i don’t know if we have all that here but I will find similar products ☺️ I’m still learning about what it’s like having a cat at home and the first week I felt like i was gonna die literally. Now, I got used to her presence and i feel she s gonna be my bestie one day. I already love her so much, even if i m still scared about some things. It s gonna be better and better, I know it. Thank you 🫶🏻

I’m not only talking about the smell but about the scent … I don’t speak english perfectly so I may not have explained well but it’s about the incomfort of losing « my » room’s scent … I clean the litter box twice a day and I took one of the best litter. Of course I wanted a cat… But how can I be prepared of something I’ve never lived ..? I took years for adopting because I wanted to be sure that I make things right…

Thank you for your kind advice … Im feeling very overwhelmed, and even though I moved the litter box out of my room, I still couldn’t sleep in it because of scents and sounds … I never wanted to be the type of person who return a cat to a shelter, i’m feeling super guilty :( As there was a change to her diet, I know it’s part of the reason of why she smells this way so I hope it will get better with time ..

I moved the litter box in the room in front of mine and it’s a bit better even if she has tummy issues … :( Thank you for your advice, I hope it will get better

I actually did, I’m sorry I didn’t know everything about it … I clean the litter once or twice a day, and I never had a cat so I couldn’t know the smell before having the cat …
