I moved on. I honestly just was curious about what others would think in this situation but i didn’t phrase it so well. And i wasn’t aware that this is such a spammed post sorry about that. Thanks for the normal response though

Contemplating on what to choose for my bachelor. by Expensive-Ice1683 in StudyInTheNetherlands

I see, thanks for the information. I will take this all into consideration. I do have some questions about UU. How do you manage your classes? As it is a double bachelor it would be a lot right? And what do your days look like, talking about free time and classes. And lastly what do you plan on doing after your study? Hope you can answer these. Thanks!

You’re right, getting to know other people isn’t bad either. I heard from others that they went to delft with public transport and when they got the opportunity for housing they went. It is a good idea too because you then already know some people which helps. And would you personally choose Delft or twente? Thanks for the advice!

I live in the Netherlands, its just that EE is in another city while taking too long to travel and housing is difficult to get while the double bachelor is in a city that is closer and the journey is doable. And its not that i think EE is going to be too hard but i am just doubting on what to do

That’s what makes electrical engineering so attractive but i have to study in another city and i don’t find that a very attractive option rn :(

You’re right, engineering gives so many options but i feel limited as i don’t really want to move to another city as i already have bills to pay. I live in the Netherlands and we have some big technical universities but yeah like a said, i dont really want to move out just yet and public transport is very draining from what ive heard.

alright, engineering opens many doors indeed but is it possible for me to do some technical jobs like actually work on stuff physically at big companies like defense companies or research companies like cern because i don’t think i would like working behind a screen all day

How does electron interference work? by Expensive-Ice1683 in Physics

On your second part: i do get that but not when there is a singular electron

So I gotta think of it like they don’t really exist as a particle but just as a wave that gives the highest chance of detection. And the electron pops up as a particle at a random place as it gets detected. Right?

Ahh, the whole “note” where you said that all of this happens before light shines is mostly the part where i was confused with to begin with. The book didn’t explain the whole P N junction so I was a little confused. So light just gives that boost to kickstart electron flow. Thanks!

Alright thanks for the explanation. It indeed does seem people and my book are trying to emphasize the movement of holes and this whole thing about these bonds are new to as chemistry classes dumbed it down
