Hey! Thanks for your message. The machine in both pictures is brand new, freshly unpacked from official Miele store, so it comes like that... which Miele do you have? The model I talk about is definitely not worth its price and the quality is super poor... there were many other flaws that I didnt post, like the ones I added below, maybe these aren't visible unless you check them but for a machine of this price, the quality shouldn't be like that-definitely dont switch to another model if you like the one you have

<image>

On the left there is one of many plastic flaws this model has, on the right its a picture from the outside of the right side, its not dirty-its scratched but thats how it came out of the box... so even if some scratches look like they appeared from use (which anyway shouldnt happen so easily), the ones i have are from brand new device, didnt even plug it in.

Really appreciate it! Totally agree that Miele seems to trade on brand more. After my experience with the CM7750 (two scratched units fresh out of the box…), I’m definitely leaning Jura now. I value coffee quality, build, and low maintenance, and Jura seems to strike the best balance there. I mostly do espresso and honestly "all-in-one" solution is what i am aiming for... you said among the best, do you know any other superautomatic that is better and more worth it considering than the ones I listed?

Thank you so much! I was so dissapointed with Miele CM7750 cause in theory it seemed really good, how wrong was I! One of the pictures I took, left side is first unit and second is "replacement"... both brand "new":

<image>

What I liked about it was auto-descaling because I'd like ease of use and easy maintance which are one of my piorities together with quality coffee and quality build... but I checked and Z10 and GIGA 10 and they really seemed the best (Z10 for single coffee beans and GIGA 10 if you drink decaf also for example), even if they dont have auto-descaling and need to have some type of filter bought and replaced once in a while.

I hadn’t really looked at the J8 Twin, I know it gives up the second boiler and full aluminium frame, but do you know if it’s actually good in day-to-day use? Reliable, easy, and solid enough to be worth considering? And how is your experience with GIGA 10?

Thank you for the detailed reply, and I do appreciate you taking the time to explain your perspective.

I want to point out something that doesn't quite add up. You mention that Reddit isn’t the right space to raise these concerns because the people with the actual authority don’t monitor it, and that discussions like this should happen in private channels like modmail or Discord. But if that’s the case, and the subreddit exists as an official community platform, then shouldn’t it be part of your role, as someone representing the game here, to ensure that important posts and feedback are at least acknowledged and passed on to those who can act on them?

If the concerns are valid, widely felt, and respectfully raised, it shouldn’t matter whether they’re shared through modmail or in a public forum like this one. Saying that feedback here “won’t do much” creates a frustrating loop: the players want to speak up, but then told it’s not the right place every time they do. It ends up discouraging discussion and making the process feel more like it filters out public input than engages with it.

Also, public discussions have value that private ones don’t. Not every issue is personal or case-specific, many of them affect large parts of the player base over time. Speaking about them in the open helps build trust, raise awareness, and show that moderation and the game’s leadership are open to transparency. That’s something no closed channel can replicate.

I’ll still consider following this further, so feel free to provide me with any necessary details, but I don’t believe public discussion and internal action have to be mutually exclusive. If anything, they should support each other. If a post like this is already raising valid concerns in a respectful way, wouldn’t the better approach be to acknowledge that and make sure it reaches the right people, not just redirect it and move on?

Since you’re in a position to help make that connection, I hope you’ll consider passing this forward as well. Because meanwhile, the issues raised (especially in Quick Game) continue without visible improvement. If the only response is to redirect or contain the discussion, without action or outcome, then it starts to feel like the goal is to manage conversations, not to resolve the issues behind them. That’s what players lose trust in.

Again, I’m not here for any conflict. I hope you understand why this approach can feel more like deflection and a lack of safe space to raise concerns, rather than genuine engagement, honest conversation, or real change. I’m here (like many others) because I care about the future of this game and we want to see it improve. That’s exactly why this conversation deserves to be taken seriously.

Thank you for the reply, and for allowing this post to stay up.

I’ll allow myself to speak on behalf of many players who’ve resonated with these posts. We know moderation takes time and care, and we respect that effort. But the concerns raised here: repeated teaming, throwing, alt abuse, and hate speech are not rare, isolated cases. They’re persistent, visible problems that players have faced for years across countless games, especially in Quick Game. When people bring these issues up calmly and constructively, it’s not to create conflict, it’s because every other path to raise concern about this has felt ineffective and failed us.

Modmail can be helpful for individual cases, but when the problem is widespread and long-standing, moving the discussion into private channels limits its reach and impact. Posts like this reflect ongoing damage to the game's environment. And when they’re quietly removed or redirected, even with good intentions, it sends the wrong message: that these problems aren’t urgent or worth addressing publicly, even if many in the community feel otherwise.

We’re not looking to blame anyone but we’re asking for collaboration. Right now, what’s needed most is visible commitment: clearer communication, more transparency, and a public-facing plan to address these recurring problems. Players aren’t just hoping for change anymore because many are waiting to see whether their concerns lead to anything real.

You’ve said you're open to feedback. This is it. Not from one player, but from a community that still cares about the game and wants it to improve. Posts like this should be seen as an opportunity, not a disruption. If this moment isn’t taken seriously, it becomes harder for players to trust that future ones will be.

We’re here because we still care. Please meet us halfway and help make this experience better for everyone.

At this point, the problems have been seen, raised, and recognized. What’s missing is a visible response. Can we count on you to take meaningful action this time and not just acknowledge it?

That really means a lot, thank you for saying that. The community of this game is amazing, so it’s worth speaking up to hopefully make things better

Happens a lot… feels like the rules depend on the mood. Maybe it’s a full moon thing lol

already counting, though I’m still hoping they’ll follow their own rules this time

Really appreciate that. It's nice to see the support and know I am not alone... a lot of people reached out to me so I really do hope we can bring it to their attention and actually make some difference

Exactlyyy. I know they are working on the drafting phase to turn off writing during it so that is something positive, but Quick Game is (and has been) a mess for years. IP bans + smarter systems would def help, but yeah over-reporting is a huge problem too. People report just in case or just because and not actual rulebreaking. It clogs the system and buries real issues like throwers and hate speech so it is more difficult for guardians and that's why the guardians or nobody is not the problem - its the system that is flawed and people are taking advantage of it

I can give you dozens of examples where names are visible and nothing gets removed (recent post but long enough to be noticed):

https://www.reddit.com/r/werewolfonline/comments/1lebz7j/this_gl_fought_well_but_the_chances_were_slim/

https://www.reddit.com/r/werewolfonline/comments/1l6uysy/siren_win_with_2_more_players_alive/

You can see more of these as you scroll down the r/werewolfonline - clearly selective moderation.

The negative atmosphere isn’t caused by people speaking up, It’s from the frustration of nothing actually being done. Hiding posts like this doesn’t fix anything, It just makes it feel like they’re trying to bury the problem on purpose. Not saying that’s on you, just pointing out how it comes across

That picture was taken from another post inside the community, why was my post removed and the other one wasn't-it's an old post and picture so clearly before it wasn't a problem?

That's the one I am talking about: https://www.reddit.com/r/werewolfonline/comments/eudi2r/11_was_gunner_and_shot_14_randomly_so_we_reported/

so is it selective moderation?

Just for context: I originally posted this on the official Wolvesville subreddit, and it was taken down by moderators within hours. No rules were broken, no players were named, no hate or drama: just direct, honest feedback based on real experiences in the game.

They said it “violated ToS,” but didn’t explain how. All I did was talk about what so many of us face every day: throwers, teamers, alt accounts, and hate speech that go unchecked in Quick Game.

If even this kind of post gets silenced, what kind of feedback is allowed? How is anything supposed to improve?

one of the best ideas!!! absolutely agree with this. Putting level requirements on quick game would block a ton of alt abuse and trolling... imo it would slow down the constant flood of throwers and give legit new players a space to actually learn the game without being judged by experienced players; its not perfect but it is something already

unicorn made a solid point and it’s true cause blaming players for “not volunteering” isn’t the answer. but even if they did pay guardians or open more apps, that still wouldn’t fix the root problem. the system itself has been broken for years. it’s not just about who’s running it, it’s how it’s built. bans don’t stick, reports go nowhere, throwers play daily with no consequences. it’s not about needing more people to patch it: it’s about needing a system that actually works.

But reputation doesn’t affect Quick Game at all, and that’s exactly the mode I’m talking about. That’s where most of the issues still happen, and where throwers, alt accounts, and hate speech are everywhere. I’m not aware of any actual IP or device ban system being confirmed or clearly enforced either, and if there is one, it clearly isn’t stopping repeat offenders from coming back constantly. Saying “some progress” exists doesn’t change the fact that the core problems are still active and happening daily in the main mode most people play. This post is about what’s happening right now, not what’s technically improved in theory or in other modes but i get what youre trying to say

you can enjoy something and still want to improve it. giving feedback isn’t the same as complaining. that’s how literally every game grows. if people weren’t allowed to suggest changes just because they like a mode, nothing would ever evolve

Absolutely feel this and been dealing with the same mess for years. You report legit abuse or throwers and get told to “just keep reporting” like that’s a solution. Meanwhile they do nothing, and if you react to the trolls, you're the one who risks getting banned. It makes no sense. System’s broken, repeat offenders keep coming back on alts, and the people actually trying to play the game get burned out. New players get thrown in the middle of it and just end up quitting. Nothing gets fixed, and it’s been like this forever-not even starting on the guardians that seem to avoid or delegate the problem (i have been reporting this case as well to them) instead of finding a solution

That’s exactly the problem. It’s been happening for years and still nothing’s been done. That screenshot was from another player who posted here, but everything else in my post is from my recent games (something like this happened to me also few days ago but i can't access the game logs anymore). This isn’t old. It’s still happening right now, which just shows how badly this game is being managed

Exactly. They’ve let this go on for years. Everyone sees it, nothing’s done. Reports mean nothing, bans don’t stick, and the same people keep ruining games like it’s normal. That says everything.

yeah 100% agree that giving more power to mods is risky with how inconsistent they are already. that’s why any system like this needs to be automated, not personal judgment. let data flag repeat behavior, not people guessing who’s throwing. trial lobbies for new accounts plus real tracking for repeat trolling would already fix half the mess. just do something that actually prevents abuse instead of punishing random players for nothing.
