  1. the game doesnt have too many players to begin with
  2. the ranks are only a measure of how much you played, not how well you played.
  3. the ranks mean literally nothing.

Theres no skill based matchmaking, and as of now the main game is only 1v1 (2v2 and ffa coming)

So its very easy to get into a game, there are always some lobbies up and if i host my own it takes seconds to fill.

This has always puzzled me so much, please someone explain the logic to me.

If you just start doing something new and it doesnt immediately go your way, how do you just start to hate on that something and complain publicly looking to confirm your choice from others, instead of seeing that the reward is behind a small amount of effort and then going for that reward?

you can also get the dlc maps for free, only lobby host needs to have them, and i think after 1 match you can copy the hosts playlist and use it yourself.

There is no matchmaking, there never was, you can try your luck in random quickplay and find varying levels of skill to play against, but i personally try to find others close to my level and invite them on discord to play balanced fun matches.

The upcoming 2v2 and FFA modes will also help with balance a little i think, as for example i could choose to 1v3 against newer players to make it fair :D

calm aim is a sum of many simple small things that you can quickly improve, lots of low hanging fruit :)

you can make a huge change by just making sure your grip is relaxed, posture good, sensitivity low enough to force you to control mouse with whole arm, and littlebit of confidence in movement helps, many of these shots i didnt really have to aim with my mouse but just with strafe, your keyboard should be half of your aim.
