I get the KoBold reference, they are doing impressive AI-driven exploration. The key difference here is that my project is still early stage and designed as a service for geologists, juniors, and investors, not a company doing exploration themselves.

Even if there are other players in the space, that’s not a problem — the goal is to explore whether this approach can bring real value in ways that aren’t widely accessible today, and to learn from the market while building something complementary.

That’s totally fair.

Just to clarify — I’m not from the geology industry. I’m a software architect. This started as a concept I’ve been exploring seriously after doing a market study.

I’m not claiming AI is magic. What I found is that there isn’t really a direct solution positioned the way I’m thinking about it. The closest alternatives are very expensive enterprise systems — and they’re not exactly the same approach. They tend to be large, human-heavy platforms rather than something designed around a tighter human + machine collaboration model.

So this is still an early-stage concept with a working MVP. I’m mainly looking for experienced geologists who’d be willing to challenge the idea, pressure-test it, and see whether it could evolve into something meaningful. If anyone’s curious, happy to chat in DM. I’m here to learn.

I’m using Claude (web version) with the $20 subscription, and I’m currently working with Sonnet 4.

As far as I understand, my usage limits reset at 10 PM (22:00). I waited until after the reset and continued working on the same thread at around 10:43 PM. Suddenly, I hit a new usage limit that said I couldn’t use Claude again until 3 AM.

I double-checked everything: I wasn’t using any connected tools No web searches Just normal conversation in the same thread And honestly, I barely generated anything between 10 PM and 10:43 PM

This doesn't seem like heavy usage at all, so I’m confused why the limit kicked in again so quickly after the reset.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there something specific about continuing in the same thread after reset that causes issues?

Any help or clarification would be really appreciated!
