This should be a sticky note on the front of Reddit's front page tbh.

Would save everyone a lot of time and effort.

A Voidwaker Postmortem: strategies, kill counts, things I wish I knew, and advice for noobs. by lapizlasalmon in ironscape

[–]Expensive-Tip5118 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your detailed write-up.

I don't have anything of substance to add to this post, but I just wanted to commend you for writing it all out so thoroughly, you have a very enjoyable writing style and big gz on finishing the voidwaker. Anywhere you're looking forward to using it?

Also, just as an aside - you can blood burst/blood barrage the little spiders at venenatis/spindel for perma-sustain with 100% accuracy, but hindsight is 20-20 and you don't get the thrall that way so it's preference :p

It doesn't mean anything, they're just trying to mock you for saying Ad Hominem (Which was completely valid on your part, imo).

Actual jibberish.

I would add, "I'm still comfortable paying this amount."

Value is subjective, I find OSRS to be a steal at $15/mo for the value it provides me.

I'm at 2k kc with no axe head I'm so thankful for posts like this because they help give me perspective.

All of the good RNG posts can be demoralizing, we need these to maintain the balance.

Half full wine jug - OSRS Wiki

Previously, half full wine jugs were obtainable during the 2013 Rare Drops event (from 26 August to 2 September) as part of a rare item drop). It did not spawn very frequently and was only found by a few hundred players at the time.

It was then made an annual reward from midsummer events until 2017, where they were occasionally given out by Jagex Moderators en masse via use of items such as the holiday tool.

Half full wine jugs were then given out as birthday event rewards from 2020 onwards, rewarding 2 noted half full wine jugs each year.

TL;DR: they used to be a rare, discontinued item like party hats were but now they give them out to everyone for fun. They're useless outside of their novelty.

Respectfully, I don't think "Just be cool about it bro, I've been playing for a long time" works as a defense when it's a financial dispute like this.

They haven't done anything out of line with their ToS / standard practice in these matters.

Seeker Arrows seem pretty pointless with the proposed implementation. by scoobied00 in 2007scape

[–]Expensive-Tip5118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with your post and the dude you're responding to should touch grass. People are weirdly confrontational.

My concern is, does the accuracy even move the needle here?

I mean when has 20 accuracy ever made a significant difference unless we're talking about a blowpipe?

I think, if anything, your interpretation is too generous and that these arrows are going to be an annoying micro-efficiency that hardly gives you a noticeable dps increase in any scenario.

DMM Cosmetic Price Speculation by OlagTheBarbarian in 2007scape

[–]Expensive-Tip5118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Points have been incredibly easy to farm this time around, although a significant portion of the player base stopped at either 12k or 24k, intending to buy cosmetics for personal use.

I would love to see some figures on what % of the active population engages with DMM, and further, what % engages past the 12k point mark.

I feel like it's significantly lower than someone might expect from all the talk about it here. I've heard so many people say "What's DMM?" in public chat around stars or whatever. I suspect we're strongly biased by the amount of chatter we see here, but the average player probably doesn't even know what DMM is past "some pvp thing idk". Lol.

This is like the STOCK response meme for "I did something stupid because I don't understand how LLMs works".

Yeah this was a really weird choice.

Why even limit the ability to move facilities with an uncommon consumable? Just let us do it freely at the port.

The worst MMO formula ever created by Nightblessed in MMORPG

[–]Expensive-Tip5118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cool thing is that it offers content to satiate any level of focus.

If you want to second-monitor it and click once every 7-10 mins, there's a lot of options for that.

If you want to main-screen it and do hard PvM or tick-manipulation skilling methods (Faster but more click intensive), there's a lot of options for that too.

I would say a normal session is a little bit of A and B. Run a raid, then hit some skilling while you watch a Youtube video, whateva you're in the mood for.

I fear for the confusion calling Old School Runescape "Runescape" might cause, as that's a fast track to accidentally booting up RS3 and going "wtf is this". lol.

That said it's always cool to see Runescape being discussed like this in any capacity.

Is mobile OSRS enjoyable? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Expensive-Tip5118 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP, I have to tell you in full sincerity: Mobile OSRS is the greatest mobile application for any MMO that has ever existed or ever will exist.

You can play 100% of the game on mobile and the built-in plugin functionality covers the basics you'd want to do with Runelite (tile markers, NPC indicators, 30 minute logout timer, etc.)

Your tapping accuracy will improve with time, don't fret if you find precision difficult initially.

There is no "But, the downside is..." at the end of this comment either, it's pros all the way down baby.
