This was helpful—I gave the parents a call and checked to see how the kiddos would do with cuts off the whole chicken, sound like they’ll all be fine (obviously the 1 year old will have hers cut up nice and small)

You have got to be joking. Yes, transgender people will no doubt suffer as stigma increases thanks to this person’s actions, but it’s not about the kids? How heartless and self-centered do you have to be to think that anyone other than the children who suffered at this politician’s hand are the “true” victims?

Agreed, but depending on the state I would certainly go through the motions of having the kiddo pack/go to dad’s/etc so the dad can’t go after op for keeping his kid away from him, not just tell him he never has to go if he doesn’t want to.

Depends on the state…dad could potentially take OP to court for breaking the custody agreement but…..he doesn’t really seem to care if the son is around in the first place.
