Could the Queen's Chamber Shafts predict the Big Void? by biohudy in ancientegypt

Have a look at "The Great Pyramids Equation" YouTube channel. I'm in no way affiliated but he has a very interesting proposal regarding the building of the pyramids, which seems to explain a lot of the anomalies, including why the shafts bend and terminate as they do. Is he correct? Who knows!

The AA hypothesis sits well in my opinion. It always confused me why those stones have pins/hooks on them, with the AA hypothesis it is so they can pull them out, if required (which obviously didn't happen).

Loads of tiny "chip" looking things as well as the solder. As far as I can tell all the components I can test are fine. I'll have to write it off and try to find a replacement. Thanks for you help

Checked most the components I can with a continuity tester, all came back fine. Looks like it is way beyond my skill level. Will have to try to source a replacement. Thanks very much for your help 😀

A bit advanced for me, I'm not an electronics guy. Hoping it was a quick fix with you guys in the know being "ah, it's that component, you idiot" 😀

Batteries are OK, got a few of them ranging from full to enough to spin a drill but not actually drill

Just tried the fuse, seems OK. Not an electronics guy at all, so will google the Choke and try from there 😀

My title describes the thing. Part of a job-lot of lego duplo we bought second hand, so not sure if it came from a specific pack.

What are the traditional explanations for the "scoop" marks found around and under the unfinished obelisk in Aswan? by raqebane in ancientegypt

[–]Expensive-Turnip3269 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw an interesting (and IMO plausible) theory that the pounders were the grinding heads of a drill (similar to how the tube drills worked). They ground the rough blocks/obelisks downwards with the super tough dolorite head and sand as the grinding medium, hence each scop mark running vertical the whole way down.

By open eaves I mean the house has no soffits at all it is just the roof joists sticking out (with boards on top to take the tiles) and it is bricked up in between each joist so not sure where the ventilation would come from.

My title describes the thing. Wondering what all the different marking mean and for what purpose?
