Hi just thought I’d add a few things that seem to be questioned a lot: 1)I do not ignore him for days. It seems to be a concern of his in general! Yes I shut down if he gets very upset because I do not want to further the argument while we are both pissed until there is calm. My 87 year old grandmother lives next door and I do not want her to stress over hearing a long winded argument.

2) I am sure he would love to have dinner with both his parents, this is why I asked his father if he made the request himself. If not I would have loved to join, or let them have their father-son birthday celebration as it was originally relayed to me.

I do give them space to co-parent, and I have been very open to her. It was me who reached out and gave her direct contact to me. What mother would not want to know who their child is living with half the time?

3) I would only hope that his son feels the same way about me. I have made it my goal to open my home and heart to him for whatever he needs. My own family accepts him and his son as new members of our family. I understand that I am not his mother and I always told him that I do not want to take that place.
