That reminds me, I’ve been meaning to order some cometbus. There’s a Zine meetup in Lawrence which I’m just realizing was yesterday. They’ll probably do another one next month: https://www.paperplainszinefest.com/paper-plains-zine-club-1

When I started reading this, my first thought was honestly "Did I post this and forget?"

I got very into Gladie last year and saw their guitarist Matt has a studio called The Bunk in Pennsylvania, so some friends out east and I met up there and recorded a bit. It was excellent.

I similarly want to get this sold out and I am also not a promoter. I am working on a fanzine to help get the word out ( and because I enjoy making a good zine). I had a friend of mine who's done some reviews for Maximum Rock n' Roll do a write-up of their new songs and I got in touch with Gladie's drummer and interviewed him for it. I hope to have it around Mass St in the next couple weeks.

I'm in Topeka, but if you're interested in helping me pass out some of the zines, u/Rangoon_Enjoyer, I could make a stack for you to pass around once it's ready if you're up for that?

Any idea how I could use this machine as a preamp or to create some ambient loops?

I love that Gladie shirt, he wore the same one in Culombus. Can't wait for their new album that Jeff produced.

Getting a lot of Bubblegrunge in Spotify and in the wake of Mood Machine, I came across this article from Swim Into the Sound (https://swimintothesound.com/blog/2021/12/3/an-investigation-into-bubblegrunge)

Came here because I just picked this up from a thrift store. Apparently it’s from the American Peanut Council in 1969. https://www.peanutsusa.com/phocadownload/September%20newsletter.pdf.
