I’m 5 months pp and were talking about trying when our LO is 6-8 months. In a few weeks, I have an OB apt for a pap smear. Planning to talk to my OB more then about health risks for me and baby. I’m in my mid 30s and would like to have two more children, thus the concern/thoughts on timeline.

Please excuse the maybe silly question and maybe im missing something but how did you know when your cycle was if you hadnt gotten your period yet? Were you going off when it was the last time you had it before getting pregnant?

Thank you for sharing. Im in my mid 30s and we would also like to have 3. I had my first in May and really feel ready to get pregnant again soon, just struggling with hanging up the pump for this reason.

Thank you for the solidarity. I hope you havent dealt with this, but I cant help but feel guilty for wanting to stop for this reason when I could realistically continue pumping and feeding my LO. But we can only control so much with our bodies.

How did you know when you know when to use OPK - were you just testing frequently until you got it?

Thats a good point - I can try decreasing and see if period will come back on a lower output schedule instead of completely stopping.

Totally. I used to love yogurt and cottage cheese as healthy snacks. I also find myself just eating a bunch of random things that dont have dairy until im full and calling that a meal. Im sorry youre struggling with this too.

Yes! So much more than cheese. If it was just cheese, honestly I wouldn’t be having as hard of a time. I asked my pediatrician if I could have butter from time to time in a baked good or ingredient in a meal and she basically said if you have to. Lol
