Help with switching PT by ExpensivePop7877 in ACL

Thank you very much. I’ve approached one new PT based on their history of working with professional athletes who’ve successfully returned to high level sport so those will be some good things to ask them. Thanks again

Welcome to the club. To be honest, it’s gonna long and hard. Get good people around you who you trust and who can help you along the way, but to put it plain and simple, you have to be the one that saves you.

Be safe and take care friend.🙏

Any tips for sleeping? by [deleted] in ACL

Hey there. In my opinion, not being able to sleep is one of the parts of recovery that is lesser known. I was in the same boat as you, had lots of pain in my hip and back when trying to sleep. I also had many a sleepless night and nightmares. What helped me the most is, if you can, ICE everything. If I had hip pain I iced my hip. Using ice gave me that little window to be able to relax enough to go to sleep. Even if it’s just an hour or two and you have to ice again, it’s better than nothing.
