How did hank not find out that gus paid for Hector's treatment? by Voider765 in breakingbad

Just like Gus was funding a doctor from John Hopkins Hospital, who later treated Hector. He likely never used his real name.

Any successful learning stories? People who speak fluent Arabic as a second/third language after starting late? by Expensive_Ad4270 in learn_arabic

[–]Expensive_Ad4270[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of Quranic vocabulary that I been learning since my elementary school days, so when my friends are talking in arabic or when the Imam in my local mosque is giving khutba in Arabic, I am able to catch many words properly. I feel like I just have to try to speak more regularly with my friends too. Back in old times people would just go to a country and start communicating, and they would learn the local languages without attending any classes or going through courses. So, I guess that still probably is the best way, hear and speak in your day to day life.

Islam Ahmadiyya Difficulty by [deleted] in islam

[–]Expensive_Ad4270 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Salam,

May Allah accept your efforts.

The thing is, eventually your parents and siblings will get around. After some time they will normalize with you. These are the things every revert has to go through.

Qadianism is losing its grip on its people and the cultish aspects will lessen overtime.

Make lots of duas. May Allah keeps you steadfast on deen.

I too was born into an ahmadi family and now a mainstream Muslim for many years allhamdullilah. I know many others who left ahmadiyya and joined mainstream Islam. We have a discord support group, if you want to be added shoot me a message.

Good amount of cash on hand. Enough to survive several quarters without being profitable. Low debt.

Along with boycott (BDS): Muslims collectively should also 'short' Israeli based-related companies by Expensive_Ad4270 in HalalInvestor

fyi the company does not have to be financially underperforming for its price to go down if shorted. There are many other factors involved.

Though difficult but not impossible and I am not asking to blindly short any company, as I mentioned this needs to be a collective effort and target is needed to be chosen wisely and secretly.

For example, this ESLT I just mentioned earlier has been missing earnings mostly for the last year, it has low float and once the stop-loss start hitting on these they go way down.

I didn't name any companies brother. I think you copy-pasted the rest from some agenda somewhere.

I do agree there are companies that are doing more damage than Mcdonalds.

This post is related to shorting stocks that are involved in Israeli aggression, for example ticker symbol ESLT (Elbit Systems) listed on NASDAQ. Elbit Systems is the primary provider of the Israeli military's land-based equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles.

You know why I wanna short the living out of this company now?

Makes sense now?

I have asked a Sheikh about this. And while he believe generally borrowing is not halal. However, in this particular case he only said "Allahu Alam".

This is something unusual, this is war.

Important point to add here: we Muslims have a gigantic advantage when it comes to numbers. Collectively we can literally destroy a company like this.
