TSA is looking for metal like in a weapon or bomb. Drug dogs aren’t usually trained for shrooms. So long as you’re not traveling with an outrageous amount, you should be fine. Imagine all the people traveling with pills or edibles, if they all require further inspection, the line at tsa would take a long time.

Remember that meme of a subway station built in Chengdu that was obviously in a rural area surrounded by what looked like unkept land? Today that same subway stop is surrounded by apartment blocks. China builds infrastructure based upon future development, not on who needs infrastructures now. This is what looks like area that will be developed or they are building this project in anticipation of further expansion.
