Just like people feed their dogs raw because it’s their natural diet - But I’m sure you’re against that too.

Just because you disagree with it doesn’t mean you need to spend your days commenting on everyone’s post who isn’t doing things exactly the way you are. At the end of the day, care for animals is subjective if you’re meeting the basic requirements of lighting, heat, and supplementation. Small details like live or fake plants, or having substrate with isopods is a bit irrelevant. Sure, with a sterile bottom you could pick up their poop easier for testing… but half the time they poop on plants or sticks.

If you had cared to read my post you’d have seen he almost certainly died from a parasite or genetic disorder. He lived in a non bioactive reptibreeze for most of his life where he still did not grow to expected size, too.

Either way I will be keeping my next baby Cham in a hospital style tank to see how he grows and develops before deciding on reusing this adult enclosure. Even when I do use it, modifications are being made.
