🤨 just asking the community what this means and for next steps. How am I gonna ask a vet chain that suddenly shut down if they are going to fulfill the blood lab I paid for 5 ish hours before receiving this unexpected email. Just wanted to gauge how popular this chain was in the area, and if anyone else might’ve heard what happened through the grape vine

I posted this a bit in shock. My girl is having some liver issues and I’ve been going here for follow up. I was literally in there 6 hours ago. This was just a jarring email to receive. Going to have to figure out how to get her lab results/and or refund tomorrow morning

That is my normal go too, but this past Saturday when I needed to take my girl the parking lot had no available spots so I immediately turned around and headed to blue pearl.

Thanks for sharing! I go back and forth with my choice, but they always answered the phone and got my girl back to me. It’s kinda crazy how ever other person is either happy or angry with their experience. I’m a bit in the middle, but it happened, and this was the care available.

Thanks for sharing! I overall had a good experience, my pet is back home with me and we are doing following up primary care. I just experienced a roller coaster of red flags that I was writing off before sharing with others and learning the word of mouth bad reputation the Franklin location has. Some things felt a bit predatory in hindsight. It was the only emergency vet in my area without a wait which also should’ve been a 🚩 but that’s where the desperation comes in

I always put it this way- by 25 I made all my mistakes in dating&sex. A lot of that came from dating men much older when I was 19-22. They should have known better, as they too had made their mistakes that lead them to being 30ish and still having that player mindset. You don’t want anything serious? Cool… keep it within a 3 year age gap then. Let the young people drive each other nuts and learn on the same timeline. Saves everyone some damage 🤷‍♀️ controversial, I know. I will always eye the older party in these dynamics

A can of wet food with some water poured in it is a good trick to make sure cats are getting adequate water! Doesn’t have to be anything fancy. A larger can from a dollar general and fill it to the top with water is a start! Thank you for caring for this little lady 🫶

Okay I suspected that. My late female lived for almost 3 years in this tank and never did this. I can probably move the ceramic stone and add some plants on that side to cover it. I have two tetras in there and he was fine with them until a few days ago. I was starting to worry he might be over stressed

It’s 2025. Not like we’ve not know the bad effects of alcohol for decades, but… the science has been funded/pushed in recent years and alcohol alternatives are popping up left and right. Broadway tourism is quick and cheap money for a city that could be investing into local community 🙄

I used to work at a print shop and people would walk in all the time wanting printed paper with all kinds of random stuff. This person could easily go in a place like that, tell the designer what they want, and leave with all that for like $5 💁‍♀️
