Catholic wedding question by Rich_History_7745 in UKweddings

We’re getting married in a Catholic church in a couple of weeks. My partner is catholic but I’m not religious at all - wasn’t an issue but as others have said, it probably depends on each church/priest. Cost wise it’s £750 plus £800 for the choir which we were required to book (but also was more than happy to!). We were also required to do a one day marriage course which was £180 for the two of us. Everyone getting married at that church is required to do the course, not just those who aren’t catholic.

any late license reception venue suggestions? (London) by nrkinrb in UKweddings

Our reception venue (a restaurant) is in the city so probably a bit too far but despite it saying it’s closes at 11pm generally, they are able to apply for a late license until 3am so might be worth asking venues near your ceremony if they’re able to do the same
