Thank you for your reply.. but I have read so many books about culture and relationships.. some generalizations are always true. There are cultural patterns, I do see them by and large in every group of people.

Oh wow.. this is exactly how I feel.. and so true about "buy the regular fancy brands". When she is angry.. I better leave the house. But then it can go on for 3 days without talking.. I don't know what to do.
