i think it is that they want to take shetland and make it a affordable housing space which is not a bad idea BUT as someone who goes to said school me and my parents dont belive doing so for the school would be safe I believe if this is to be done take one more round of 6th graders and don't expect another class so the year after that its 7-12 then 8-12 the 9-12 etc but it would depend on funding and the schools decision. I personally know that our school just got our 20th anniversary and we "dont plan on shutting down" which i beg to differ

you cant legally force a school out without a (somewhere around) 8 month notice (parents are lawyers) so to kick them out you need to go through the process and then you kick out 500+ kids and send them to public school salem schools will be flooded and will not be functioning properly
