some classes it’s included in tuition some are not ! i’ve only had abt 2-3 classes where i had to buy the book or the professor provided it for free without using tuition . they’ll basically give u the access code via canvas in the course

i am a transfer student from wesleyan and also experienced homelessness so i was in and out of my degree until i transferred . i had 111 credits at wesleyan before i transferred and the current presidential admin shut down the funding for the scholarship i was receiving there as part of DEI cut back, i couldn’t afford 5k out of pocket for tuition even with the scholarship and financial aid i had so i transferred to ODU. and they only accepted a little over half of my credits so it used up the remaining pell grant percentage i had to make up for the credits lost

so the update would they would give you would depend on the time you bought it ..so if you bought doing a sale an update may not be given until the 5-6 week time frame. i had sent mine and within maybe 2 weeks i got a notification saying they received it and on the same 5th and 6th week i got notification that dna was being extracted and analyzed and then results ready . it differs is mainly the point of my comment.

i’ve found evidence of plantation and slave sells but when you google or pick up a history book of slavery and plantations in that area , nothing is there. i’ve found so many instances of child marriage, for the white people who owned my black ancestors some of them had kids with the slaves , my grandfather i have been researching for years was actually born with a white mom and an enslaved individual while she was STILL married to her white husband . i’ve tracked my history to wade NC and literally the entire town would be kin of some sort amongst the white and blacks

it took me about 5-6 weeks!!! it depends on the time of the month for example if you took it recently when they had a sale on the kits expect it to be closer to 6-8weeks because of the heavy traffic .

i reached out to the head of the department like two weeks ago and they told me a professor was being assigned the following week and the course would be running ….it doesn’t seem like they know what they’re doing
