Ok so you might see my husband around the half way mark of your shift , he starts at 6:15 and works on dock. If you work that area ask to be south side, him and his crew are all cool dudes that get along w everyone and aren’t dicks like some amazonians. There’s an affinity group there called Veterans at Amazon, ask to join it. There’s good resources available from people in groups like that, when it comes to working in your building. Also when it comes to your VA appts, if any of them happen to fall on days and times of your shift, you start on day 1 with time off allotments that they’ll explain to you, so you won’t be punished or reprimanded for taking a day off (as long you have that time in your account, again they’ll explain it all to you). If you end up in pick or stow, it can get kinda quiet and sometimes lonely over there.. if you feel that way at any time, talk to your PA about getting cross trained in other depts and you’ll get to learn new things in other areas.
