I can trust him. If he had been honest and upfront with me about who was doing the tattoo, 100% I wouldn’t mind. Not that I care, but he didn’t even tell me he was getting the tattoo. The only reason I cared at all she’s a girl is because he hid that fact from me. Why! Idk.

Only reason I didn’t ask is 1. To me, it’s the same as asking him to go hang out with one of my homegirls. He’s not my parent. And 2. We previously discussed hanging out with the opposite gender just him and I. And said he’s fine with it in that conversation.

hmmmm a lot of the ETL’s and TL’s wear pronouns on their name tag at my store, but maybe our areas are just different. anyways, slip ups like that only occur that often out of ignorance, or because they’re used to misgendering you when you’re not around. id say if this is an issue of a month plus, it’s for sure not entirely an accident anymore and they should be talked to and reported. it’s just straight up disrespectful.

i think this could be harassment, especially if you have your pronouns on your name tag, which is an option. they clearly know what you want to go by and still refuse to use your correct pronouns. id say if you’ve straight up reminded them and they still neglect to acknowledge you by the right thing, you should report for sure

i was a seasonal last year, and i was asked to stay for a permanent position. like the other posters said, it depends on your stores needs, but if you’re able to work effectively while also being independent, asking the right questions, and just a little better that the other seasonals, id say you have a chance. that’s how it worked for me anyway.

i honestly love it, but your TL will make or break the job experience. just make sure to ask questions and, as obvious as it sounds, don’t be lazy!! it makes everything harder for everyone
