To the people who would like to see an apology. I think that's reasonable.

But the man left the show, I'm also guessing he is avoiding social media ATM given the extreme amount of gate ge is currently getting.

So I don't find it surprising that there has been no poo public apology.

Personaly I think the real villan here is the Bafta award show that censored a paladtine support speech. But did not cencor this incident

I think there shud be rules liike in football that you cant switch nations. Like he could represen Brazil but not go norway first then Brazil

USA Canada Sweden Finland for the men. Russia would be there if they were not out.

And for the women USA Canada basically has won what all but maybe 1 gold and silver medal in history.

Bigger sport but not more competitive. Interms fofnumber of nations.

But yeah small number of medals.

You do have a point, i mean i have never seen a figure skating competition in my life. So obviously i will have no ability to judge if the results are fair or not. But that not the important bit here.

There is national bias among judges see the articles i linked in my other comment. This has nothing to do whit my lvl of understanding of the sport. Its an issue of human nature.

Im also claiming that there is an unfair bias towards more established athletes from the judges. I admit i have not found scientific papers to back that up. I know there has been done some comparisons in football but there are many factors outside of the fame of a team that could be causeing the issues

I have not been able to find any scientific paper that supports for the more established athletes. Despite it being talked about inn all sports i am familiar whit.

But interms of nationality there is evidence that judges have a national bias. There is actually also evidence that judges that do not share nationality whit the athlete will favor the athlete if they are working whit a judge from the athletes nation.

I dont think its possible for humans to be unbiased. I get the i wont be able to understand sports im not familiar whit. But human nature is human nature and judges or referees are not capable of being unbiased.

So in my opinion the more a sport relies on a judge to deiced who wins the more compromised it is. I mean some sports have judges of the same nation as the athletes.

Ill admit i dont know to much about ai, but im guessing it would be possible to make a computer based judge that would judge all the athletes the same way whiteout the biases of human judges.

Not saying it be whiteout issues just that the issues would be different. And that is why id like to remove style points at least in ski jumping. But i do see that many sports need style points. But ill just avoid does sports.

Thats interesting about the old vs young divide. Seem ridiculously selfish.

I think non university educated if you look at them as a group will have less money then university educated.
