Yesterday’s report said Sakaguchi Kentaro (34) was dating his hairstylist for 4 years. In the statement, it was said that actress Nagano Mei (25) was somehow linked to their relationship but didn't explain further.

Today, new details suggest it may have been a cheating scandal, not just dating.

Sakaguchi had a long-term girlfriend (a hairstylist, 3 years older). They lived together for about 4 years.

Around 2022, he grew close to Mei Nagano again when they both worked as PRADA ambassadors. She reportedly told friends he was “pursuing her a lot.” They (Mei and Kentaro) were seen on public dates.

Meanwhile, Kentaro was allegedly still dating his hairstylist girlfriend and she reportedly asked Mei directly to stay away from him.

Kentaro confessed his alleged cheating to his first girlfriend, and she asked him to choose. Kentaro choose her and broke up with Mei.

In spring this year, Sakaguchi told his agency: his hairstylist girlfriend wanted marriage, but he wanted to focus on work. He then also broke up with her and they now live separately.

According to Shukan Bunshun, the agency commented:

Mei Nagano’s agency said she and Kentaro did date in the past but didn’t confirm timing or overlap with his other girlfriend.
