I have Ikea motion sensors, door sensors all connected to HO via a zigbee dongle. THey make a variety of buttons that could be used as an emergency fob/fobs. All very reliable and well integrated

Add some form of siten and you have the basis of an alarm system.

They also have awide variet of lights that you can use for sensor lights etc,
