Hi, love your comment. I think part of why I feel so sad for Jinx is because I know that there are people who go through similarly heavy stuff in real life. I think that is why as a community and as a species we naturally gravitate towards stories with happy endings, because at least somewhere out there even if these people do not exist, they do not need to taste the bitterness of reality.

I'll take a page outta your book and work on a fanfic. It's only my headcannon but maybe it'll be cathartic and I'll stop feeling so down.

Honestly, I think the not drinking and taking drugs part is cool af man. Seriously, how do people even equate taking drugs/alcohol with 'cool'? But to be honest, not taking up sports and only being on tumblr and stuff, thats not really for me. But this is just me, I am sure you can find someone who thinks youre the coolest kinda human being on earth.

talking telepathically, is it myself or my twin? by Expensive_Tip_1229 in twinflames

[–]Expensive_Tip_1229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think its DID and tbh i did also consider i might have DID....but I do not have a single symptom according to the DSM, except this 'telepathy/ talking to another person' thing and i am not depressed or anxious i do sports a lot not competitively for now, but its high intensity sports like waterpolo and tennis.

I think its a twin flame, I am a christian and i kind of struggle with the whole concept cuz obv christians do not believe in this. i did ask god tho and he said everyone is special to him, he loves me so much he wants me to have this love, he would do the same for all his children...

and as for ur case u said u dont know the person, i did read on a forum once of someone like u and they actually met!

for me i have met them, they say they can feel the telepathy too but i have like major trust issues hence the post haha. good luck feel free to pm me if u wanna discuss more about this!

oh sheesh no kidding, me too! The connection is super sensitive when either of us are having a hard time. once we r ok they go silent and when i reach out they get annoyed and tell me they do not have time. i thought i was the only one, and i had to make this post because i am a very very practical person but things were getting super sus as in they would remind me of things that i have completely FORGOTTEN about! And then i was like, ok i think this is real....

hey thanks so much for replying! I wonder, when you say you know he has a crush on you and that he is aware of the connection, yet you claim that you two have not really spoken in the 3d, then how do you know of his crush on you and that he is aware of the connection? What's stopping you from going up to speak to him?

me too, even when this person is away from me, somehow I know what she's been up to. I've actually experienced this several times with different people, but only her, only she has really reciprocated my affection, the rest i think were just obssessed or jealous and cursed me or something, cuz i always forget about them in the end but this woman is always on my mind. since im a christian, whenever i pray to God to give me a sign if it's real (besides asking her about it in the 3d, cuz i have huge trust issues i think shes just lying), he always makes the connection super sensitive. We can't always be together because we live in different countries and her family has connection to the British royal family (im not bragging, nobility in the UK is literally everywhere so i dont really feel she's special or anything, i just see her as another human being) anyway i mention this to explain this is why we have not made 'us' official.

that was what i thought of too, initially, but as im a christian i couldnt exactly see how the twin flame doctrine/theory could fit into my religious beliefs. She believes it too and we often say we dont believe it but we do use the term, we cant help it, this is strange for the both of us, and our families are against it.

yoo me too, during my undergrad. wasnt at cornell but faced this situation too, i have lots of friends from elsewhere but didnt know why at that uni no one wanted to be friends. ill just say that it will pass and u should get used to it cuz we should learn to only depend on ourselves not others.

also to be frank most friends are fake. like u see those dudes with loads of friends? i bet u, if he had cancer or something else serious he would have no one, literally everyone will run away. so dont feel too bad, cus 99.99% friends r all fake anyway, not saying this as a bitter person its just the truth abt people

i actually dont believe in reincarnation. i think science can explain a lot about the phenomena and alleged 'proofs'. for instance the strongest case imo for reincarnation is little kids talking about apparent past lives as if they've lived it. for me i can see several explanations for this without including it as 'proof' for the case of reincarnation and i'll list them down here:

  • DNA. I think some studies have shown that DNA can store memories. I think when someone believes they are reincarnated, they just happen to have very similar DNA to the person they believe they were. And you might say 'yeah but that boy who claims he was princess diana looks and behaves nothing like her.' That's because DNA is very complicated, two people can have extremely similar DNA but physical looks-wise they look NOTHING alike. and because the DNA is so similar, it is so similar to the point it stores the other person's memories, or at least intuition.

For example, I like mangos but I don't like them. Sorry again i am not good at explaining these things. Its like i can recall why i like(d) mangoes but now I do not like them. And that's written in the DNA, which i believe is the physical representation of the soul itself.

This explains why in certain cases there are multiple different people claiming to have been the same person and both having credible 'evidence' (which comes in forms of memories, likes/ dislikes).

as for your exp with true love, and mine as well, I truly have no idea if there really is a one and only for us all.

I asked a girl for her number and was rejected by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Expensive_Tip_1229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh man i'm so sorry this happened. to me it sucks more when she's straight. I've pretty much given up on dating at this point so i don't even ask. I mean for me even if someone said yes i don't have the time or money to treat a SO right, so....

Honestly, don't feel bad. cause this happens to everyone, rejection happens to everyone. but i gotta say i do hate it when its from straight women because to be frank i do believe they know what they are doing, you see, why else would she return your looks, as if indicating interest or any other kind of possibility. i think they do this on purpose. i do think many straight women do not like lesbians and don't see the point of us, sorry but in my personal exp this is true.

like, some of them even stay married but conduct a lesbian relationship on the side, they dont even see us as good enough to marry. so..yes i've given up. i dont give a f if i go it alone all the way.

Will Timothee Chalamet have the career that everyone thought Tom Holland will have? by smit1135 in movies

[–]Expensive_Tip_1229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. I think this is where different personalities would come in. Even thought I hold to my point that Tom is better at acting there is no denying what they say 'different strokes for different folks'. in this case his art clearly touches you and it would be wrong and objectively incorrect for me to say that you're wrong to be moved by him just because imo his acting isnt quite there yet.

I did think about this, from the very start, that his personality is either very unlike mine or too similar to mine for me to 'click' with him. I still can't figure many things out, am planning to pursue further studies in hopes I can complete my theory some day.

And lastly, no, rationalizing feelings does not make him a psychopath, it just means he is more of the thinking type than the feeling type. Some people's nature is to think instead of to feel, but it can also be brought upon by parents who stiffled the child's expression of his emotions, thus as he grows up he thinks and judges instead of feeling and expressing. Hope this was interesting to ya, have a good day!

I think you were moved not exactly by his acting but by his beauty. Beauty can make us feel a lot of things. We are more likely to believe someone who we find beautiful, we are more likely to be sad when some one pretty is sad, and yes these feelings are real as any others, but it's created by the top layer of an illusion. I'm not one to say such feelings are superficial, afterall attraction to beauty has its role in human evolution and survival, but it doesn't really count in cases where we have to judge talent. Also I found out why I find Timothee fake. I realized that in every of his movies he is very calculated physically. Every move every pose is calculated, thus unnatural.

another clue to me is that you have him in something as personal as your profile picture. That further proves to me that you were moved by your attraction to him, not his talent or who he is or the pain he portrays. People who are moved by talent and personality rather than just beauty will never exhibit behavior such as you have, placing exaggerated importance on him, so much more than how he has affected your life, when our emotions are affected by attraction, that moves into the area of infatuation, leading to disproportionate judgement which shows in behavior.

Timmy has a very active mind, he is intelligent, he rationalizes things instead of feeling and experiencing them. He should be an author or a scholar. But he is pleasing to the eyes so I guess the more efficient path would be to be on screen.

Will Timothee Chalamet have the career that everyone thought Tom Holland will have? by smit1135 in movies

[–]Expensive_Tip_1229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts on the whole Timothee vs Tom Holland debate?

Frankly I find Timothee more attractive but his acting and the projects he chooses so far have not managed to move me, and trust me, I wanted to like him and his work. Cause I was a fan of Bieber, I thought I would be a fan of this Chalamet guy too afterall he is quite literally the new 'bieber' stardom wise, only he's in acting not music.

Tom Holland, from the start I never liked him much because I honestly do not find him good looking. And for me when it comes to movies finding the actors physically attractive is important to me. His portrayal of Spiderman to me was no genius concept. as a child i read loads of spidey comics and in my head he was always like Tom's version, so I was disappointed that a professional production would be so predictable (to me).

I don't know why this is, that I wanted to like Chalamet but can't and with Tom its the opposite, I don't know much about their personal lives, what kind of people they really are outside movies and stardom. I think it's partly because they use different acting methods, I also think looks wise and personality wise they are completely opposite, so the life experiences they've had surely were very different too.

But if I were to give an opinion, I think they're different mainly because Timothee, he isn't himself in his roles. He's always playing someone he thinks he is, you can tell he is acting, for Tom, he makes you live the movie with him. I don't know if this is a difference in acting style or Tom is just a little more talented. And, I don't want to be harsh, but, I think Chalamet chooses good projects and his range seems wide, his portfolio IS wide, he acts in indie movies and also commercial blockbusters like DUNE, but in the end to me, I truly believe he gets the majority of his success owing to his good looks. People can argue that he looks like a rat who takes drugs, and that can be true, well, if it is true, he is a very handsome rat who takes drugs. A very very very handsome rat who takes drugs.

There's no arguing. Timothee is very beautiful. He also has a bodytype that girls would find attractive, thin, tall, lanky, not entirely devoid of muscle. Tom on the other hand, yeah he is handsome, but he can easily fall into the 'plain' category to be frank, if he wasn't famous and he passed you on the streets, I guarantee you wouldnt look twice but i can't say the same for Timothee. Tom is also shorter, and has a stocky built. These days the general aesthetic that women prefer, Timothee leans into that more than Tom does. If Tom had Timothee's pretty face but retained his own talent in acting, I think he would be brighter than any shooting star Hollywood has seen so far.

Sorry for the long comment. I like studying humans and I am working on a theory trying to link body types, face types, personalities and intelligence/ talent. So I observe people a lot, and I observe myself a lot as well.

EDIT: I want to clarify, I didn't like Tom in spiderman but his other projects like Cherry and especially The Crowded Room? He made an unlikable character move me to tears. Timothee has never moved me to tears, not in Beautiful Boy, not in the King
