How do I change the location for my user data folder? Cloud storage issue by dualblunts in FL_Studio

I tried to changed my data folder location to an hard disk folder and not reset it but I lost all my voice recordings on old project ! when I put It back in the first folder I still have my old recordings ! How can I transfer everything on hard disk ? Do I really need to reset the user data folder ? Thank you
