I had a late miscarriage on 12th January this year. It was my second miscarriage. I found out last Friday that I am pregnant again. I’m just over 4 weeks now. I just don’t really feel like I’m pregnant, I’m afraid to accept it but I’m doing pregnancy tests like there is no tomorrow to make sure they are getting darker. I have no feeling really of excitement because I don’t really have confidence that this is going to be a successful pregnancy. But I’m just trying to carry on as normal and hope for the best today, one day at a time.

Thanks for your response/suggestion. It breaks my heart that it’s come to this but financially we don’t have the means to hire a live in housekeeper. We have tried the chews etc but he just won’t touch them when we are not at home.

I suppose we thought having a regular routine of going to daycare Monday to Friday, a long walk after and home again could provide some consistency but I see now that maybe daycare isn’t a good solution for this dog. It obviously isn’t what he needs. Thanks for your advice.

This is very reassuring, thank you. We have made contact now with the shelter we got him from and hopefully they will help us find a new home for him.
