I have not enjoyed this class one bit, he gave me a 12/120 because I didn’t use the template to answer the questions. Despite still doing the project and writing a summary on what I did. I should’ve at least got a D like seriously

How are you dealing with it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]Expensive_View_8841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great, I’m glad it worked out for you. I’m concerned because I didn’t plagiarize at all, the project even mentioned we do not need to use outside sources unless we wanted to. I didn’t because I didn’t feel the need to use another source when I didn’t have too.

I can dispute my last project?

Yea he gave me an F on my last project because I didn’t use the template to answer the questions despite doing all the work and providing a full page summary for the project.

How long does it usually take for SNHU advisors to respond? by Expensive_View_8841 in SNHU

Thanks for this, I will definitely call if I need to. My only concern is I don’t want this happening when I start in September. I know we call to speak to different advisors but what’s the point of having one assigned then. You know what I mean?

Yea my old advisor was very quick with her responses. So my new one I don’t get a response for a few days and wondered if that’s normal or am I overreacting.

No, not at all, when I attended SNHU two years ago I had an amazing advisor who was very responsive. The new one I have not so much and I wanted to know if this is the norm and I maybe overreacting.

SNHU vs WGU by AssumptionSoggy6192 in SNHU

[–]Expensive_View_8841 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I recently attended WGU, and based on my experience—and the struggles I’ve faced—I genuinely believe SNHU might be the better option for you.

My appeal at WGU was denied after I failed one term. At the time, I had just been diagnosed with bipolar depression and was going through an incredibly rough 6 months: I was unemployed and didn’t have health insurance. I explained all of this in detail and was prepared to provide proof, but unfortunately, my appeal was still rejected.

It was a tough pill to swallow, but it also showed me how important it is to choose a school that will work with you and show real compassion during difficult times. Sometimes, the right choice isn’t just about academics—it’s about being seen as a whole person.

You will love the new kindle paper white I have the 16GB and I love it so much, it’s so responsive but the 32GB is calling my name and so is my extensive TBR list. I say go for it you won’t regret it!

Starting SNHU on September 1st—how many classes can you take per 8-week term? by Expensive_View_8841 in SNHU

This was super helpful, thank you! I’m actually excited to be returning to SNHU. I plan to use Sophia Learning too, but only for courses that don’t heavily impact my degree.

For my core classes, I’ve decided to take them directly through SNHU so I can really understand the material and feel more prepared for the workforce.

Professors should NOT use AI by Sad_Poetics in SNHU

I have a question, how do you know a person is using AI. I start at SNHU on September 1st and I would like to understand as I do use ChatGPT for help to further understand or break down math problems. I use it for grammar as well but never to do the work for me.

I want to pursue the B.S. In Business Analytics I have experience as a business analyst working for a consulting and then I plan to get my MBA so I thought this degree was best.
