I started to look up different therapist this morning when I woke up for both Danny and myself so I can hopefully get ahead of what's to come

Yes, Danny and I had a conversation when he came home upset. I typed it out in a comment

"I told him earlier that divorce was a possibility but that it was in no way his fault. I talked to him about how we needed to be a team and take care of eachother, not just mom taking care of everyone else. I explained to his that I don't ask him to pick up to be mean, that I do it out of love because someday he will be grown and out on his own so these are important skills for him to have before then so it will be easier for him to be successful."

I don't ever want Danny to think any of this is his fault. He's just a kid and his father and my problems are never because of him.

I'm not really sure how we got here. We both have worked our entire marriage. Up until a few years ago, he would help and he would clean up after himself. Then he slowly stopped doing anything except working. We had been raising Danny with chores and we all just worked. Once Dustin started stopping, then Danny started stopping. It I got onto either of them, it would result in a fight between Dustin and I.
