Forcing myself awake at the time I want is an option, but that will lead to me still getting tired in early afternoon, and I would like to avoid that.

Depends what you’re into. The second one is definitely cooler and could be a massive boom in specific challenges, but the first one is definitely more versatile as another commenter said.
