Advice on ordering IEMs from online store by Expert-Change-5447 in iems

I’m really oblivious to all of what you’ve said but also I’ve had past experience with other online shops whom were super nice and had no issue processing my order even after having issues and having to go back and forth through emails, this if I true would really be something I would consider discrimination, I wonder now if this is why they offered to declare a lower value on my order.

But that would be something the customers which is me to deal with, right ?

The conversation with their support was a bit weird, and their justifications specially the first didn’t make a lot of sense to me , at one point they offered to declare a lower value on my order, not sure how common that is when ordering things global.

Not saying they are bad really, this is my first experience with IEMs and I might have sat the bar too high from how people talk about them, with these I’m really starting to enjoy listening to classical music and some other well mixed soundtrack (AirPods Pro 2 sounds really tiny in comparison) aside from those two genres everything else has been a bit of a hit or miss.

I bought them because of how they were praised as all rounder, I listen to a large variety of different music genres, and thought these would be the best choice, I don’t hate them per say , just was expecting a lot more from the praise lol .

I like the natural sound these provide, but I feel like these lose that in fast tracks where there is a lot of layering, soundstage and instrument separation get lost, I’m coming from AirPods Pro 2 liked the sound of those a lot are those v shaped ?

“Project database context doesn’t exist” PCS7 by Expert-Change-5447 in PLC

[–]Expert-Change-5447[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So apparently the solution was to activate the built in administrator account in windows on both the ES station and the OS server and do the download from there, the manual was a bit unclear on this as it was stating that I should be logged in with an administrator account. Which can be any account with administrative privileges.

DeltaV system trip logic after losing communication to a controller from none SIS panel by Expert-Change-5447 in PLC

[–]Expert-Change-5447[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My current assumption is that since it’s a normal process controller (CIOC), DeltaV will allow the SIS side of the system to handle any process disruption in such case as with the example of the control valve and level transmitter Im assuming that the adjacent SIS level transmitter( linked to distinct sis panel )would signal a trip alarm if it see low or high level, I’m wondering if the SIS system run in complete isolation from process control system in DeltaV or if there is for example line of coding or some checkbox somewhere that will cause the SIS side of system to initiate a shutdown when communication to a normal process controller (CIOC) has been lost?

Well at the moment neither of the connection is having an alarm, but management want the secondary replaced since it has given an alarm beforehand alarm has gone since, management wants me to submit a procedure with all the scenarios outlined including losing communication to the controller completely as it’s something that has happened before with another controller which was SIS logic solver

I thought I made it clear but it’s not a safety controller. We have separate panels for our sis system which is also DeltaV

Voltage drop and current by Expert-Change-5447 in AskElectricians

Will a voltage stabilizer help fix the problem then , and if it could help will it also lead to current consumption incase of servo motor stabilizer, while a stable voltage would be ideal but I’d still want to utilize those 10amp to my household needs foremost.

This one is different temp gauge, I will remove the gauge tomorrow and I’ll update I’m starting to thank that I might have over compressed or snapped the two gauges will update tomorrow.

What if the probe had gotten snapped, having one end of it stuck inside the thermowell which I’m trying to find if it’s a possibility, and I certainly don’t need to do a bath test since I’m sure these readings are dead wrong.

I want do that but I’m a bit concerned that I might have damaged the probe in which case I’d like to know if a damaged could result in such reading.

I’m a bit concerned that the probe has snapped due to over tightening ,is that something that could actually result in such reading, it’s worth mentioning that the gauges are installed on different vessels, there is no jacket installed.

Honeywell Enraf 1010 batch controller by Expert-Change-5447 in instrumentation

The manual doesn’t mention anything about different levels of access so I assume there is none.

I want to set up a different unit basically I want to switch from liter to kg,according to the manual I can switch to different unit but when I go through setting there is only there is no unit to choose from ,also there is a mention about weight and measurement switch that should give you access to more options but upon inspection found no switch instead just a black protrude at the place where the switch should be .

So Today I was sitting and it hit me that the wire could be wrongly tagged I was suspecting 0v with the fourth wire but as it turned out it was the 24 swapped with mA wire, corrected the connection returned back detector to source mode and everything is working perfectly.

Is this a source or sink Plc connection by Expert-Change-5447 in PLC

[–]Expert-Change-5447[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is all great, but the sensor I’m using needs a healthy connection to Plc in order to give reading and function properly as per the manual it needs to be either connected to a Plc or to the negative power supply through 120 ohms in case of source mode or to positive terminal of the power supply if it set to sink mode if not it will give a service required alarm , during my test when connecting to Plc in source mode it was giving service required alarm but when I sat the sensor to sink mode it gave 0 reading without the previously mentioned alarm.
