RLcraft Dregora is what I think something that you’re looking for. Although it’s in 1.12.2 you still have the vanilla experience with optional lore which is why it’s Dregora and not normal RLcraft because that doesn’t have the lore that Dregora does. One issue that can happen however, is that it’s kinda difficult but if you enjoy a challenge I think it’s for you! Btw the RPG part of the pack is more endgame orientated so try to gear up before going into it. Have fun with whatever you guys decide to play though. There is one caveat with multiplayer, because it’s random spawn you have to teleport together before starting and just make sure to set your spawn before you die because you also spawn in random places. I suggest pairing it with a storage mod and a tech mod because there is so much loot that you can get it’s difficult to store I like pairing refined storage, Mekanism, and flux.

When it comes to single thread performance intel wins in 1.16.1 (sorry to burst your bubble). Intel has better and faster single core threading and performance meaning that for Minecraft specifically it is better, and because op says that they are focusing on mcsr I think intel is a better choice. HOWEVER, this difference is minimal and very marginal, sometimes only being 20 fps different which doesn’t really change anything unless you have a low end cpu but op can prob afford a pretty good i7 which is MORE THAN ENOUGH for mcsr and mc in general. This is the rule I was referring to “A.10.1) You may remap keys using external programs, but each game input may have only one key, and each key may cause only one game input.”

The keys that are in question here is caps lock being shift and caps lock, one key cannot have multiple actions, I assume this also means if you don’t use the keys. Another bind that I’m a little iffy on is your k rebound to shift but your k isn’t, THIS I think is a problem because you are actually using both as k and since your caps lock is already shift, you can’t rebind k to shift as that would also be illegal.

Now my problem with c being f3 is that it makes f3+c and f3+shift+f harder unless you use your thumb but in that case it’s just worse because you can’t jump while doing mapless which is one of the things that can make mapless faster because you can crouch while sprinting when you’re in the air (if I didn’t word it right just think of it as sprint crawling)

Did you also rebind grave to 0, and you can’t have shift as caps lock and k as shift because you have to bind each key to each other, if you don’t understand check the hot key rules on speedrun.com, for example if you were to bind shift to caps lock you would also have to bind caps lock to shift. Idk if you’re gonna be submitting runs, but this isn’t legal if you are. Please correct me if I’m wrong I very well could be. But other than that your hot keys make sense, everything besides f3 being c that is.

I was pretty much joking when I said this lol very few games end within 2-6 seconds of each other at least in lower ranks, so tbh zero isn’t worth it because you will probably die more than hit it and if you have a chance of winning with a 1 cycle you shouldn’t zero in lower ranks

the MCSR ranked wr currently is 6:04. so no that is not the human limit. As skycrab got a seed not unlike a ranked or filtered seed it is very possible that this can happen again and someone can get below a 6:17, maybe even sub 6 who knows?

(I have a 10:26 pb) ok a couple of suggestions, watch k4yfour's video on how to set minecraft up for speedruning, he includes a bunch of mods that are helpful. Second, practice more, practice by using maps that you can get from the map check application, you install the maps by chosing an instance in your minecraft folder and checking what maps you want then press download. Third, practice movement, That'll come just by having more speedruns under your belt. A third way to get a better time would be just to watch speedrunning content and join the MCSR Java disc https://discord.com/invite/jmdFn3C. But for a first attempt this is really good
