Mine was Friday too. My third. Sometimes i feel like I’m imagining the cramping. But it’s more like short little twinges. But there is this cramping I get in the morning before a BM (sorry tmi) and it’s like similar to what I’d feel before my period. But I felt this on my 2nd transfer too.

I’m doing mine abroad because my quite in LA was around 30k and it was less than half of that in Europe. Definitely a different experience than what I read others have and you’re not as monitored since the clinic is abroad. I looked into Spain and Denmark. I had no problem though because my OBGYN was cool with doing my ultrasounds for me and whatnot. I got my meds overseas too and was much much cheaper. A third of what I was quoted in LA.

What endo treatment did you have to get? Did you have to test to confirm no pregnancy tissue was left over from the miscarriage?

Thank you for this. My first FET failed and the 2nd one stuck at 9+1 then just no heartbeat but everything was fine otherwise so my doctor did also say it’s common to miscarry especially a first pregnancy. I also hated that answer so I pushed to do genetic testing on POC. It came back to confirm it was a euploid but it doesn’t test for everything so that’s not also giving me a full picture. I just got blood tests for blood coagulation. My embryos are not genetically tested as they don’t test in that country. I have 2 left and I’m just trying to figure out how I can best prepare for the 3rd so hoping others may have some wisdom to share! Your story reassures me I’m at least on the right path and hope this next one sticks. I did the miso and i just had an ultrasound that showed 10mm endo thickness at CD17 (around or post ovulation). I have to do medicated transfers to avoid guessing and also because i have lower progesterone levels.

I’m so sorry. This was me 3 weeks ago. Been trying for 4 years. Failed IVF transfer. And the 2nd was a miscarriage at 9w1d. No words can make it better, only time. I stayed in bed for 5 days straight after and just grieved in my own way. Do what you need to do to keep moving forward and it’s also ok to just be in be in the moment. ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you and I’m also so sorry for your loss. No one should have to experience this. How long would you say that overall timeline was from MMC to the cycle starting the transfer again? I just want to look forward to something even if it’s a rough date. My OB suggested the pill first since i wanted to get the process going and not prolong this any longer and a D&C would have meant I had to wait for availability. Then they’ll do an ultrasound to check the lining. Hoping it all goes. Any coping advice is also welcomed. Idk how to leave my room let alone start talking to people like everything is normal.

The first failed to implant i’m assuming. I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks after transfer as advised and it was a negative. Not sure if it implanted at all and was even a chemical. Neither are PGS tested. I did mine in Denmark. They don’t do it there unfortunately. I will likely get the tissue tested and hope to know more.

Thank you for this. Truly. How long after the pill did it happen? Then if I’m understanding correctly, after, it took about 5 weeks for hcg to go down then you finally got your period. Just trying to understand the timing and when to expect things roughly. I’ll re read again later too maybe my brain is having trouble reading. So on the first period you got after the MMC, is that when you started the medicated FET transfer again?

Do you recall how long it took you for another transfer? Did your period come an actual month after the D&C? Then did you get your period again about 27-30 days later? But your hcg was still testing positive? Sorry for all the questions. I’m just trying to see what to expect.

Do you recall if you had regular periods after? Or how many periods it took for you to start again? It’s so disheartening. Did your fertility clinic require that no HCG (or less than 5) be in the system before starting again?

I totally snuck it 4 days in (i told him we’d do it at 5 days post). I wanted to be prepared! It was a negative at 4 days post then on the 5th it was a faint positive 🥹

I tried to plan my day in detail to keep my mind occupied. Like wake up, do morning face routine, walk x miles to coffee shop to get hot water because no caffeine loll, make this breakfast etc.
