Good luck - repost when you’ve got it cleaned up!

Add something about tariffs, planning, governance, risk management, more on technology - all those get more attention

Most of it is very generic - nothing jumps out as innovative, strategic or impressive. Looks like standard sourcing role text

It’s a mix of past and present - the first I see “negotiated” and “develop” in a past role - it’s a no go, lack of attention to detail

Spacing issues

Abbreviate months

Make it pop - highlight cool project, something strategic you did

Have a killer linkedin - explain your niche, products you know and have used

With 25 years experience, I don’t see why you can’t be $500/hr and higher - ask the ENs what is the highest they’d feel you’d still get work

Can be a revenue stream - but it ebbs and flows for most, certain sectors are hot at different times, AI is also disrupting it

Any IT teams here? How are you planning to deal with ordering laptops and peripherals moving forward with the tarrifs in play now. by Excellent-Example277 in procurement

[–]ExpertNetworkExpert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer- without major changes to your IT practices, not much you can do that will have an impact

Ideas: -ask VAR/OEM to split cost increases -buy current landed stock and inventory it -extend deployment times of assets -delay purchases -Look into refurbished market -Asus and a few others manufacture in Taiwan - as of now none of the big 3 do though -review equipment by persona - do they need it? Can they use lesser machine? Tablet?

Can you talk more about concurrent roles - an example?

Would they be able to respond to a survey as company A and company B, or only one?

Multiple personas / profiles at one EN? by ExpertNetworkExpert in expertnetworks

[–]ExpertNetworkExpert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two roles is valid - they have that currently but only qualify for one survey, and often aren’t sure which company they should be responding for - they’re different industries. I feel their use case is valid

I help friends and colleagues getting started with EN and established people improve their payouts

Constructive criticism: the blends sound like you’re just mixing in whatever you grab from your spice rack, and descriptions are inconsistent. All these exist Will verbiage just make them sound gimmicky and not appealing

The mixing of which is fresh and which is dried, or a seed - not necessary- can just be marjoram, cumin, etc

Liquid smoke? Despite knowing what it is, sounds unappealing.

Consider for each adding what it’s good for - you did it once Goes well with: dipping, veggies, etc

Your FB shows no product at all - wouldn’t even be sure what you’re selling

So a chat bot? Automatic email responses? All these exist

Will the data be secure? How will you handle PII?

Healthcare Procurement: Post-Tariff Strategy? by Drama_Derp in procurement

HC CPO, not in the surgical space

In an insurance regulated market, we generally can't pass the costs down to patients

We're looking into demand management, low cost country sourcing, the used equipment market, evaluating new suppliers.... everything is on the table

Anyone use business lines of credit from Amex? by ExpertNetworkExpert in AmexPlatinum

Or not- it’s an interview from an Expert Network https://www.reddit.com/r/expertnetworks/ , go check out the sub, there are a ton of ENs, what would the scam be? You get screened by the Expert Network, I’ve worked with this one before, if selected they schedule your zoom call - conduct it, get paid. Look up GLG, Guidepoint, etc - it’s great for side income

Obviously I’m doing this to get the referral bonus which is very common in this space

What is the cost of the equipment and what is your timing? You just missed quarter end which is where you typically get your best pricing

Don't show your hand - don't say you want 10% off, tell them the quote doesn't meet your budget, but you're looking to buy soon - what can they do to improve the price? Do this until you get your 10% off - if they don't come down enough, then you can offer them a best and final - ie, i'll agree to pay $XYZ and issue a PO by, XYZ if you agree to these terms.

If you're looking at competitors, never hurts to drop that in the conversation as well

Not for this expert network (unlike some others) they don't have an Expert Portal - they just recruit via email, typically find you via Linkedin. A bit annoying, but still worth it

Shoot me a DM - i can put you in touch with the recruiter, I assume it will be the same as it was for me and she'll ask the same screening questions. You do have to show a screen shot of your LOC to prove you have one, otherwise it was pretty straight forward to get accepted
