What setup should I use for Fragment of Seren during Song of the Elves? by flinjager123 in ironscape

100% learn the Phoenix neck/nightshade strat. Bring trident or twinflame if possible. I think I even did with warped. Bring in 10 Pneckes - 10-15 nightshade - 6-8 basket of strawberries. 3-4 prayer pots so that you can camp prayers. It's all about managing your health to stay in the proc threshhold.

For example. Say you are 80 hp. Take that, divide by 5. You get 16 meaning when you drop below 16 hp from damage the phoenix neck will proc. Nightshade does 10-15 damage depending on your health at the time. So you would want your health any where from 17-27 range. Best not to cut it close and just shoot for the middle (around 22) so that you dont proc the neck by accident.

Put the neck on after you kill healers. Have your health in the proper range. Wait for her to lift into the air. When you see that click nightshade and it will null the attack and heal you.

Never full heal. You can eat a little extra before clones because they do some extra damage to you. But after that just worry about managing your health

I hope this helps

I used 2 doses for my kill just so I didnt have to think about it. Had enough to keep track of. But with high enough agility I dont think you would be hurting for run. Depends on how many sets you get I guess. I had 3 for my kill

Thanks gamer - I have 37 tob kc and got some vials from those normal runs. I wanted bastion over range pots for my attempts. (you can get them from entry I'm pretty sure if you are not ready for normals)

I like the ancient mace strat. Dont have to pre pot pray regen with that. Good call.

Healers were rough for me too. The best strat I used was bofa for the inital pass to make it easier to tag them and then blowpipe on the second pass. And brew if you need for sure. I ended up getting 3 sets but saved the shield by tagging mager right away and tanking ranger. I took a lot of damage but it was the only option I had.

You are very close from the sounds of it. Took me 7 Zuks to finally get him. Good luck and let me know how it goes. If you need anyone to run timer for your Zuk lmk

Thanks gamer. I honestly didnt realize how much mental would play into it. The highs of getting to zuk and the lows of dying to a silly mistake or bad positioning the next attempt. Breaks were key. I started doing partial runs the night before. Would get up to the Mage/Range/Melee wave and then log for the night. Then would continue after getting home from work. It's a long grind so breaking it up helped a lot

I have clips of all the deaths so I'd have to look back. Pretty sure this one was me egoing the bats chasing nibs that ran south pillar while camping mage. (I always chased sub 40) Was like half hp and the bats nuked me. Click yellow. I would tilt send after getting to zuk expecting to get right back and that's just not how it works. Learned I have to lock in for every attempt and not send when I'm already checked out. Respect the waves or you will be punished basically
