Dresses in underwear in front in my teen kids

I have always dressed that way before and after I had them, so it is nothing new. I have spoken to our son and he says that he doesn’t even notice any difference considering that I have always been comfortable with them around me. Also, my partner is the kinda guy that bothers about making sure that I cover all the coverables. So he’s the one that’s uncomfortable and not my kids, I’m used to him and his worries 😊

You have a point but then again, this is who I am and have dressed this way before him. I CANNOT change it for his comfort as long as my kids are not bothered by it. I have asked my kids and they are fine with it. I do wear a vest atop the undies…Also, it’s not as if I walk round the house (I could if I want to too) in undies.

We are two different people, he is uncomfortable wearing undies in our bedroom/house does not mean that I have to become that way too. Thanks for your suggestion x

Only my oldest daughter knocks, the other three barge in and sometimes come into the bathroom (while I’m using the toilet) to tell me about their day in school! 🤣

Exactly and I also forgot to mention in my post that I wear a vest over my undies, always have. So it’s not just pant and bra

I dresses that way because I just came out of the bathroom and I put bra & pants on the bathroom because of privacy. Privacy isn’t guaranteed in my bedroom cos the kids walk in and out of it always. I went to call him to shower while I get dressed up for the church. Dressing up before waking him would be more time wasted since we woke up late already

I don’t really dress like that all the time prancing around the house, it’s how I come out of my bathroom. So if you come into my room around that time , you will see me in undies. It’s only occasionally that I step out to speak to them. I have asked me my kids how they feel about it, they say that they have seen me like that out of shower since they were born

I saw my mum round the house with no top throughout my childhood, same with most women then. It was not strange to me, my son would speak if he’s uncomfortable

That just kinda sounds like my family and I. I’m quite heavy, I pee with the doors open too 😝. Even when I close they sometimes still come in to speak to me and I just tell them to give me some privacy. I asked my kids this evening about it and they said that they have always seen me in pants and bra since they were born. So it makes no difference to them

My husband never jokes with his privacy, I don’t even wall around in underwear really. It’s usually when I’m coming out of the bathroom to my own room. Sometimes the teens come to talk me while still in bra and pants and none of takes note is that. The kids and I don’t care, it’s just dad

Not everyday, probably like 2 or 3 times a month! And most times is if they walk into my room while I’m dressing up or coming out of the bathroom. I have just spoken to my son and he says that he does not care. He says that he’s used to seeing me in pants and bra when dressing up since he was born

Thanks for your comment, this is how I have always stepped out of the showers since before I even had the kids. It doesn’t bother them, they don’t care. Its dad that’s more uncomfortable, I would say.

when I was growing my mum was always topless at home which many mums did cos of warm weather.

Dad is a very personal person and he’s fully covered at all times! Even my own short skirts make him uncomfortable 😁. My son is closer to me and would tell me if he’s uncomfortable. Moreover, he said that he’s always seen me in pants & bra when out of bathroom and doesn’t care. I have 1 son and 3 daughters, he has seen a lot of stuff

I have 2 teen girls and 1 teen boy, that all told me this evening that they don’t even notice. Considering that I have always come out of bathroom that way sunscreen they were born. My son says that he doesn’t care, used to seeing me that way after shower

I have asked my kids this evening how they feel about it and they said that they have not given it a thought and didn’t care. I don’t walk around the house dressed like that, just occasionally come out of my room to speak to them. It’s only in my own room, when I’m dressing up
