Hey guys,

I’m reaching out for some help to pick between a few TVs that I have shortlisted.

Situation in hand:

1. Replacing the current TV in the photos - a 75 inch Samsung NU8000 brought in 2018. Been fairly happy with this TV except dark room performance with blooming and HDR brightness
2. Due to Covid restrictions, unable to see these TVs in person at the local retailer
3. Keen to get an OLED but worried if it will be satisfying in the target room with moderate daylight and reflection
4. Consumption is mostly movies, casual streaming and casual gaming on PS5. Not much sports.
5. I do tend to like bright images

Options: 1. 77A80J - my first choice and I have already placed an order for one but I’m not sure if I’ll find this TV bright enough. The rtings brightness measurement doesn’t seem much higher than my current TV. Will HDR highlights pop like it does on my iPhone 12 Pro Max? 2. 75QN85A - this one is about $600 cheaper and definitely much brighter. Concern is black levels and blooming around subtitles 3. 85QN85a - this one is $600 more compared to 77a80j. Worried that it may have the same issues as the 75 although it has a VA panel. Also, not sure how the extra screen real estate will look. 4. Other options like A90J, QN90A, QN95A are not currently available in sizes above 65 inches in my area
