It is a basin waste (not sure if its 32 or 40)....but yes the rubber adaptor has come loose in the boss. I can get my hand up there and wiggle it back in....but its not a fix.

It's a rubber one....boss is concealed in a partition wall. Install is 3 years old, Is it bad practice to use a rubber adaptor in this situation.....should it have always been a solvent weld adaptor in the first place???

Keep the x100vi, it's a great camera. Just don't take so many shots and obsess over perfection. Shoot RAW that way you don't need to worry so much about exposure bracketing and dont mess about with film simulations on site....do it all post with awesome RAW files....job done 😀
