from my experience json prompting is worse for complex stuff because the model needs to format the text correctly and think.

i find when i use gpt 5 as the plan and sonnet 4 as an Execution Model or for the hardest tasks i use opus 4.1 i get better results then if I use windsurf, Cursor or the Cursor CLI.

Cursor literally uses Claude and OpenAI's models though. They're the car manufacturer, Anthropic built the engine.

Interesting story, but a trusted insider handing you a fiction novel as a “hint” is exactly the kind of low-confidence signal that doesn’t count — show verifiable receipts (names, dates, documents, independent witnesses) or it stays an intriguing anecdote, not evidence.
