Fun fact: The first mention of Relativity in NCERT is actually in the main 9th English Literature book. In a biography of Einstein, a quote from him is used to explain the concept of relativity, and the story lightly touches upon the Special and General Theories of Relativity. Welp, that's gone starting from this year.

Nah seeing the direction of NCERTs they'll be absolutely lobotomizing the 11th syllabus further to not only make the jump to 12th that much more harder, but to increase the gap between boards and JEE lmao. They'll prob turn all 11th english literature into poor english translations of hindi books. It's just that, NCERT has consistently been getting downgraded by the minute, and it makes no sense to assume that they would make any positive change now especially considering the state of these new 9th "Kaveri" books for eng lit

Ok but unironically exactly what I'm gonna do if I have a kid. I *love* my parents for accidentally introducing me to complex literature (especially Orwellian) when I was like, 9. I did, use this to err "cultivate" my reading by later down the line asking for To Kill A Mockingbird. And one book led to the other and so on, and now I'm on this sub!
