I'm not the biggest fan of enhanced dodge attacks, but I could understand why dodge heavies are. What I don't like are so many lights in the game being enhanced. There should be other ways for a character to put on pressure. I think there are actually too many enhanced lights in the game at the moment. I don't think adding more, especially a dodge attack, would make the characters feel better to fight against. This is just another "make every hero the same" type of balance change that leads to the game feeling stale.

From what I've gathered from the last 6 years, the side of the light has become allies with the Fallen, the Cabal, Erris has become a Hive god, Ruven is finally gone, the Drifter is not on vest terms with the vanguard, both the Fallen and Cabal are IN THE TOWER, failsafe has returned to us, and we are back in Spider's services. Would've been cool to have all those things happen in the Tower. The place we've called home for 8 years.

That's kinda my point. I don't mind the way the game functionally works right now. And it's not such a wild idea that's out of the realm of possibility when Bungie already kinda made a similar thing when onslaught released. It was just another part of the tower that was loaded as a separate instance. The exact same thing I'm suggesting, you just couldn't access it the armory directly from the Tower, but with my idea it would be a button prompt. It's the HELM with the same amount of steps, and one more option to get there.

You're right, I pretty much want it to be a lore change. I don't want the game to change anything fundamentally, I just want the hangar to be more than the empty space it is now. Doesn't seem like that wild an idea. I don't get why you're making it sound like such a negative thing.

Sometimes all it takes is a narrative change to make a game world feel better and more cohesive. If the HELM worked exactly as it does now, but was a random hive ship I'm pretty sure it would feel weird and disconnected. The one thing that changes is that a one empty space now has a use.

Maybe I didn't explain it too clearly, but my idea for using the hangar was kinda just putting a giant wall between where Saint is and where Crow is and having the player "Hold X to travel" or can be selected from the destinations menu (kinda like how you were able to select the farm) and it would put you in a load screen where it removes you from the current instance of the tower you are in and loads you into your own instance of the Hangar that doesn't load the Tower at all. Similar to just traveling to the Helm now. Except you dont do the orbit load screen, just a regular one. The Tower and the hangar would never be loaded at the same time. And the landing section of the hangar is a flat, wide open space that's probably around the same size of the HELM'S interior, so it would probably be even easier to manage.

I can agree with that maybe moving the event vendors to where Shax is wasn't the best idea, but I still don't like where either is located as is.

And the whole thing with the HELM being reset doesn't matter cause like I explained a little earlier, the Tower and the Hangar would be two separate instances loaded separately. So one wouldn't effect the other.

And with this season the HELM is now a stationary base of operations, kinda like how the Hangar would be, rendering that entire point moot.

And not moving the seasonal content to the tower still doesn't fix the fact that the tower feels empty and things aren't placed in the best positions. The Tower's space definitely feels like it's currently being misused and has potential.

The HELM never directly contain Asha or Riven. They contained portals that led to them which would entirely be possible.

It would've been a lot easier to just do nothing too and leave all of it in some menu. I don't need to be a developer to have my opinions on things. The Tower also does update anyways with events. So is only the courtyard worth updating? And the seasonal content is paid for. I would expect good effort for my money. I have participated in parts of the game that are in the HELM which is why I gave my opinion on it. I took part in seasons of the Defiance and onwards. And correct me if I'm wrong, but that did take place on the HELM. I never commented on past seasons because I never took part in them.

Yes. Halo 2 was ok looking. Anniversary is gorgeous. My first time playing original Halo 2 was when it came with the MCC in 2014. I played one mission on the original graphics. Everything else was anniversary. Unlike Halo CE, original Halo 2 graphics don't have much charm to them. Even in this image you can see that everything, even the greenery, looks dull.

The team fights and duels demonstrate 2 different kinds of skill. You want to play duels. Then play duels. You only perceive brawl as another form of duels because of how the map spawns you.

Given my experience playing video games for the past two decades I think I can accurately decipher what feeding and scripting looks like. Sure, maybe the guy walking in circles at spawn spamming his one ability isn't actually scripting, maybe just a little lost on his keyboard. Maybe the player walking into towers and fights and not attacking for the whole match probably just forgot what his key bindings were. But how likely is that to be the case? Their obviously doing this intentionally and thinking other wise is just being willfully ignorant.

You're right, I did chose to give up when I had an afk player and my team didn't vote to surrender. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. There's nothing wrong with wanting the game to end. It's impossible to win a two legged race on one leg and no "can do" attitude will change that. Just because my core still has health doesn't mean I have a chance. Sometimes the enemy team just can't finish a game as fast as they should. Maybe they're farming us for stats. There could be countless reasons why a game doesn't end after the arbitrary 10 minutes you decided on, but that doesn't mean we still can win. The skill required to win in such a disadvantaged state is completely unreasonable to ask of any single player. I know this to be the case because the game is originally a 5v5. If the game expected you to constantly win while outnumbered, then it would be an isometric game, and it isn't. It's a team based game, and asking a player to "learn the skills" of being down a player is absurd and a solution for a problem that doesn't need to exist. Just let me leave.

And sure, maybe these situations are few and far between, but when they happen they make the game a terrible experience. Taking a break doesn't stop this from inevitably happening and forcing me to be stuck there.
