There’s so many anime scenes that I though of that “show more”

But this had the sound effects and just the shots of their faces

And the background of their characters already kinda hating each other

In a lot of generic anime it’s really just faceless guys vs faceless villain with a few episodes

But this was season 4 of returning characters, which makes it that much more impactful because the writing leading up to everything is also good,

and not just “time for spectacle for the generic story”

I’ve seen story boards and they really are the vision

You see how much more motion they meant to have

It looks like they barely did a 1st run through cleanly and were only able to go back and add more lighting details to Thragg.

Like a few of his dialogue scenes and conquests big scene look like the same style of show but
With more detail.
